A week or two ago I decided to experiment with a few advertisements on this blog. Typically I don’t like advertising very much on my blog but I thought I would try it out.
After a week or two of being annoyed by the advertisements and making no money I have decided to remove them.

I agree, ads on blogs is one of the most annoying things to me, I'm glad you got rid of them.

I think advertising is o.k. if it is not overwhelming. After reading one of your blogs last week, I went over several of my sites pulling ads off. There was just too much!
I think Good taste is the bottom line.

I agree that good taste is crucial. Still trying to find the perfect layout for my blog.
Tasteful advertising is key. The ads should not only blend in aesthetically but they should also be relevant to the target audience of your blog or website. Targeted advertising can be a benefit to your readers.
