Your Biggest Traffic Mistake
The biggest traffic mistake people make is having poor or bad content on their site.
People on the Internet are searching for information. Frequently they have a problem and they’re looking for a solution to their problem. And that’s what you need to give them.
If you don’t have quality content then visitors won’t stay long enough to click on ads, signup for your newsletter or take any other action. They will immediately leave and never come back.
Those visitors won’t come back to your site.
And they certainly won’t tell their friends about your site.
Social media
If you have poor content then social media won’t do you any good either.
Visitors won’t tweet about your poor content.
Visitors won’t stumble your poor content.
Visitors won’t digg poor content.
If you have poor content no one will talk about it, blog about it, or link to it.
And you’ll work 10x as hard to get traffic.
So work on providing your visitors with great content.
My advice
One of the signs of great content is that it answers peoples’ questions and helps them find solutions to their problems.
If I could give you one piece of traffic advice it would be this: Figure out what people want and give it to them. If they want to stop snoring at night, then give them the information to help them do that. Whatever it is they’re looking to solve, help them solve it.
