There is a web host called Globat and they are ripping me off. Years ago I had a hosting account with them for some of my websites. I closed the account 5 years ago because I found a better hosting solution.
Imagine my surprise when I found a $95 charge on my credit card from them. Included with the charge was a phone number for their billing department.
I called their billing department asking to have this charge removed. They asked for my account information which I don’t have (it’s been 5 years!).
They then asked for my credit card number to look up in their system. They couldn’t find a charge for any credit card with that number! Yet somehow they seemed able to charge me.
I have called them three different times and spoken to different people. No one can help me.
I have no choice but to do a chargeback.
Readers beware: Globat Web host is ripping me off and they will do the same to you.

Sorry about that, Nick. I hope you get your money back if you can.
I use BlueHost, and I'm satisfied with their service so far. When I signed up, they called me to make sure it was me who purchased their web hosting plan. Pretty decent service. You might want to try them.
I have been using BlueHost for a couple years and am very happy with them. There was one time when I did have a small issue and when I called them they picked up right away and resolved the issue.

I know how disgusting the experience is.
I'm using Devhub free hosting when suddenly all I can edit are my posts!
Then the same problem like yours -all my messages to it aren't being answered
and the problem got worse when I tried to transfer to Bravehost hosting. What's
appearing form time to time isn't my domain but a Bravehost ad like my domain
was hijacked -I deleted my account but Bravehost kept appearing. I reported Bravehost
and banned it from my computer today. I'm still not sure if that works.
