Your right nick. This is a great way to get traffic and more adsense clicks. I thought about doing it too. Domains with misspellings are worth alot too.

They are worth a lot. You just have to make sure that they get enough searches.

For example there are many possible misspellings of "poodle manicures" but not very many people are searching for that.

One thing that's important to remember is that most of the time when a user searches for a typo he'll see something like:

Did you mean: Correct spelling (top 2 results shown)

What percentage of users click on the correct spelling? I'm guessing a lot.

Plus at best you'll rank 3rd for your keyword behind the two legit sites.

Also Nick I have a question. I just watched that Eben Pagan video where he talked about branding with alliteration and rhyming. I notice that your site uses that technique to a degree. Lots of K and T sounds.

Was that a conscious choice? I'm currently brainstorming for a long-term site I'd like to start. Wondering if you've got any tips…er, tricks?

Good points about the typos.

Yes I picked the name on purpose. Nick rhymes with Trick. And Traffic & Trick have a TR sound and a k sound. Good observations!
