That is interesting, the suggestion to register an account with Google Webmaster Central to get an accurate report of your back links.
p.s. Nick – how about posting about page rank update and how to tell if PR flowed to your site from a do follow link? If you didn't do so already.
I am linking to one of my sites from a PR4 page that is relevant but the destination site is stuck at PR0

To be honest, I don't really care about page rank much anymore. I have a feeling that Google may be phasing it out.And instead it's finding better ways to determine the value website. Tracking page rank flow from one website to another is kind of hard. Especially if that website has links from other sites.
