Go on expert IM forums, i saw a guy selling 1000 directory submits for 20$. So you can get some good deals out in the public

I don't really think pain for directory submissions is the best use of your money or time at this point.
Instead focus on building good content, use social media to spread your message, and use that $20 to pay for one month of a decent autoresponder like Aweber.
