This is an interesting concept, which I'd heard somewhere before. The way I heard it was to collect a group of like-minded business associates, in non-competing businesses, and run each other's business problems past the group. It was less focused on building a group around you specific problems and more a general group, which bring different prospectives to a problem.
Either way, I guess the issue is how to come up with suitable candidates for the group and how to pitch it.
I would be interested in hearing how anyone else does with this.
Forgot to add, there was one point Eben makes, unrelated to the MasterMind group, which really has affcted my productivity. That's the idea of picking one thing which is really impacting your business (or whatever) and focusing on it until it's done. Once it's done then that's it.
Very true. Picking 1 thing and focusing on it has been a struggle for me.
