People ask me all the time if there’s some “silver bullet” to getting traffic.
My simple answer is, “No.”
There’s no “magic button” that you can push and within seconds get a flood of traffic without any work.

I liked how you analyzed that "magic button" in the beginning of the video. Really, it's just like anything in life if it were easy, everyone would be rich as a result of it. In regards to knowing if it's a good keyword for you, if you check out a competition search on Google, the # of results, that will often be a good indicator if it's feasible or not. You are definitely right though Nick, in that people should not attempt to rank for Real Estate. There's over 360 million websites competing for that!
Till then,

Great video, its very true, traffic does not come easy and it requires a lot of hard work finding the right keyword that gets the right amount of traffic that isn't too competitive, you should not go for the hardest keywords because in reality you might never rank for those. There are so many companies out there paying top money to get on top, and especially if the site is new, you won't rank for those competitive keywords.
You make a great point about not focusing on certain term if you don't have the back up to pay for SEO, but use terms that the competition is not too competitive.
Nick, what a nice layout (?) for your video. So Harry Potter like, with the moving pictures in the book.
And everything you mentioned about the 'Silver Bullet' is so true. Most IMers are chasing phantoms instead of concentrating on their niche and building their businesses.
Thank you! I made the video with iMovie on my Mac.
