Today I want to share with you a great tool called the Web Page Analyzer: Free Website Performance Tool and Web Page Speed Analysis
This awesome tool will tell you how long it will take people to download based on the their connection (e.g. Dial-up, T1, etc.).
I ran a test for my page 30 Days to More Traffic and it returned a multi-page speed report.
Here is a screenshot of the first page:

Looking at my Google Analytics account I see what the connection speed of my visitors is:

From this I can see that Dialup users account for about 3% of my visitors so I am not going to worry about how long it takes them to download my page. They’re probably used to slow downloads anyway.
Most of my visitors are on DSL or Cable and that’s what I will optimize for.
One last thing I should mention is that if you are concerned about how long your site takes for people to download then you ought to use this tool to find out what the download times are for the top 5 sites in your niche.
Try not to have your site be bigger than the top 5 sites in your niche.
Give this tool a whirl:

Loading speed is one important factor for a site and for this I always use gtmetrix and google page online speed to analyze the download speed of my blog

Yes what you said is right.. speed is most important factor. even including too many images in site cause a delay. i too suffered that and now it doesn’t.

Good advice.
I did some checks with the tool you mentioned above and found some startling numbers (56 K / ISDN / T1) numbers = download time in seconds)
Nicks______20.16___9.37___5.01
MySite_____55.27__24.42___11.98
myHTMLsite_12.29___4.60___1.49
The MySite is a non-optimized WP site, so there is much room for improvement.
What I found when looking for ways to optimize is to start with the most frequented page (usually the homepage). Get this one to load quickly and the user accepts a little longer wait load time when clicking to an other page on that site.
Two other tools I wanted to mention that help a lot in analyzing loadtime and also bandwidth usage:
- webpagetest.org
- zoompf.com/free
The last one gives you a detailed overview on where you should optimize.
Pls note I am not affiliated with these two sites.
Hope this helps.
