A gov or edu backlink is just a link from a website that ends in .gov, or .edu. Some people feel that .gov or .edu websites might have a lot of “authority” and therefore a link from such a site might be “really good” in some way. I can think of some instances this could be true, and other instances where it might not be true. There are so many other factors, too.

2. I have searched on google adwords keyword tool on a keyword about Samsung Galaxy note, its a mobile phone and competition is pretty less, what should I do to make my site rank on first page of google. For example comment with that keyword etc……. ?

@nick , I am following your blog and the tips mentioned to increase the traffic is very helpful. I am agree that relavancy of link is doesn’t give too much impact on rankings but it will help in ranking too. Google gives the priority to good links.
