If you ask me this same question I would have to say the second article. The first article seems like it has what I want to know about but the second article seems like it will have something a little different.
When it comes to what people like, it is always something a little different. The key here is to give the reader what they want to read but at the same time give you article a title that screams, READ ME!
Below you will find 4 examples of article titles that talk about the same thing but have a different personality in them. The first article title is the basic one and the second one is the one that sounds a little strange and will most likely get more traffic.

Do you see why the latter of the two titles would work better to get you more traffic? People like something that is different and with all the people talking about making money online and other things like that, you need to do something to stand out of the crowd.
I am not saying that you need to insult your audience all the time, but it works best to give your readers something different to read from time to time.
When it comes to getting traffic to your website you need to start with what is actually on your site because that is the easiest. Trust me, you will be much better off writing better articles titles than going back to building countless backlinks and spending hours messing with social media sites.

And yes, I am definitely reading an article entitled “Crazy, Stupid And Genius Ways Gurus Make Money Online – 101 Ways To Be Exact.” That is a smart and very interesting title, not to mention, out of ordinary. I somehow see your point with this article, very well said.
An article with that title would get most people’s attention and that is why I highly recommend changing the title to get more traffic.

New and updated contents are the things the readers tend to seek. Since this readers are always looking for something new and fresh. And also something useful and informative enough to add more knowledge to them. New contents are in demand not just to update a certain blog but to inform also others.

This is so funny. It is true that the second titles would attract more people than the first ones. Not that the first ones are not good but the second ones are way better and they really make someone eager to know what the writer has said about the given topics.
I have seen a few sites that have managed to make the ‘shock factor’ work for them, by using outlandish titles and pictures to grab people’s attentions and draw them in. Their content is respectable and useful though, in most cases.

Your point there about the importance of the title is something most agree with. To go as far as saying even more important than links, maybe, or maybe not. Either way though the title is important.
to find the shock factors, we have to think out of the box, think the different way from what others people are thinking, for nobody want to read what’s already on their mind! You’ve done it very well Adam, and thank for sharing us this Nick!
You always read that ‘content is king’. I don’t believe this because I have loads of great content on my blogs. I know how to write and I have lots to say. The content part is taken care of. My worse performing blog in terms of traffic is one that has the best content
